The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has announced that the admit cards for the upcoming UP Police Constable exam, scheduled for August 30, are now available. Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website at uppbpb.gov.in. This exam is a re-test, conducted due to a paper leak that occurred during the initial examination in February.
To download your admit card, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official UPPBPB website: uppbpb.gov.in
2. Click on the link for the Constable Recruitment Exam Admit Card 2024 for August 30.
3. Click on ‘Candidate Login’.
4. Enter your login credentials: Registration Number and Date of Birth (DoB).
5. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
6. Your UP Police Constable Exam 2024 admit card for August 30 will be displayed on your screen. Download it and take a printout.
It is crucial to carry your admit card to the examination center on August 30. Along with the admit card, you must also present a photo ID for entry into the exam hall. Remember, candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam hall without an admit card.
The re-test for the Police Constable Recruitment exam is being conducted to ensure fairness and transparency in the selection process. Nearly 48 lakh candidates are competing for 60,244 posts, highlighting the high demand for these positions. The exam commenced on August 23, and the final two papers will be held on August 30 and 31.
The exams are being held at 67 different centers across Uttar Pradesh in two shifts. The first shift begins at 10 am and ends at noon, while the second shift starts from 3 pm to 5 pm.
To make it easier for candidates to reach their exam centers, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has arranged special bus services. Candidates availing this service will need to show their admit cards to the bus conductor. They will also need to download two additional copies of their admit cards: one for travel to the district of the examination center and another for their journey back home after the exam.
