The Greystone chamber choir from the University of Saskatchewan (USask) has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 1. The choir, led by Jennifer Lang, will be performing Elaine Hagenburg’s five-movement ‘Illuminare.’ Lang applied and was selected as a guest conductor, earning the choir a spot in the performance. Around 45 USask singers, 20 alumni singers, and others from around the province will join Lang on the New York stage. This is a prestigious opportunity for the choir, and they are excited to share their music with audiences in New York City.
