Utah Woman Charged with Sex Crime for Pulling Down Teen’s Skirt in Steakhouse
Ida Ann Lorenzo, a 48-year-old woman from Utah, has been charged with a Class A battery charge for pulling down the mini skirt of a teenage girl in a crowded restaurant. The incident occurred at Sakura Japanese Steakhouse in the city of St George, Utah, on Saturday night and was captured on video.
The video, which has since gone viral on TikTok, shows the aftermath of the altercation between Lorenzo and the group of teenagers. Lorenzo can be heard telling the alleged victim that if she has to watch her ‘a** cheeks hanging out again’ and see her pubic hair, she would call Child Protective Services. She later told police that she was planning to file an indecent exposure report.
Lorenzo, who works for Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, was booked into the Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane, Utah, on Sunday. She has since been released.
The incident has sparked outrage online, with many people calling for Lorenzo to be fired from her job. A petition on Change.org calling for her termination has already garnered over 100,000 signatures.
Lorenzo is scheduled to appear in court on August 23rd.
