François Biarneix has been named as the new Operations Director of Vallair, a seasoned specialist in aircraft assets. Based in Chateâuroux, Biarneix will be responsible for overseeing the strategic deployment and operations of Vallair’s aerostructure and composite shop, engine shop, logistics department, and aircraft dismantling activities. His appointment bolsters Vallair’s senior leadership team and operational capabilities, bringing over two decades of management experience. Biarneix has an extensive professional background, including serving as Technical Manager for a supplier specializing in parts production for Airbus and Safran programs and as Plant Manager in the automotive sector. Notably, he led the successful transfer of A330 component production from Airbus’ Nantes facility to their Indraero facility, establishing and expanding a technical department and orchestrating significant plant transformations that resulted in substantial revenue growth.
Biarneix is drawn to Vallair by its strong leadership, development potential, and opportunities for implementing standards and procedures, optimizing layouts, deploying Lean tools, and streamlining processes to improve TATs and deliver cost-savings for customers. He emphasizes Vallair’s flexibility and ability to adapt to market trends, highlighting the company’s plans to expand its operations, including increased aerostructure capacity, creating a logistics hub, and enhancing dismantling activity. Furthermore, Vallair is exploring further development in its new engine shop to manage module replacement and maintenance.
