In an interview with Bustle, Hudgens expressed her unwavering commitment to her career, stating, ‘There’s a lot that I want to do regardless of the timing. There’s a lot I feel like I still haven’t done, so I’m just continuing to work towards those things in whatever way.’ One of her aspirations is to venture into directing, a field that she believes aligns with her unconventional artistic vision. ‘I feel like my taste is just so bizarre and not what people expect,’ she remarked, ‘and I feel like that’s what makes interesting directors—when they’ve got a specific and different point of view.’
Despite her career aspirations, Hudgens prioritizes her pregnancy journey. She decided to skip this year’s Coachella Music Festival, an event she usually attends, due to the extensive walking involved. ‘The walking sounded aggressive,’ she quipped. ‘It’s a lot of walking.’
Hudgens announced her pregnancy with Cole, 27, on the Oscars red carpet in March, showcasing her growing bump in a black turtleneck gown by Vera Wang. The news came three months after the couple tied the knot in Tulum, Mexico. Hudgens humorously described her baby belly reveal on Instagram, ‘One for the books.’
