Veronica Leoni Appointed Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection

Veronica Leoni, a respected Italian designer, has been appointed as the new Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection by PVH Corp. This move signals a significant change for the brand, which has not had a designated designer since Raf Simons’ departure in late 2018. Leoni brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having honed her skills at renowned fashion houses such as Céline, Yves Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga. Just three years ago, she founded her own successful label and was a finalist for the prestigious LVMH Prize in 2023. Leoni’s design philosophy centers around a ‘sharp point of view on femininity with an edge,’ an aesthetic that aligns well with Calvin Klein’s brand identity and codes established by the founder in the 1990s. She joins a growing number of women holding top creative positions in the fashion industry, bringing a fresh perspective and a focus on diversity and inclusion. Together with Global Brand President Eva Serrano, Leoni will oversee the Collection line, as well as its influence on other product lines and red-carpet appearances. Her first runway show for Calvin Klein is slated for fall 2025, marking an exciting new chapter for the iconic American fashion brand.
