VIA Rail Canada invites the public to its 2024 Annual Public Meeting, scheduled for broadcast on August 7, 2024, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. This pre-recorded session will be available on VIA Rail’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
During the meeting, VIA Rail will present its financial outcomes and key achievements from 2023. These highlights include the addition of new trains in the Quebec City-Windsor corridor and the introduction of a new reservation system.
The meeting will also feature discussions on VIA Rail’s future strategies, particularly the ongoing implementation of its VIAction 2030 plan. VIA Rail’s leadership, including Chairperson Françoise Bertrand, CEO Mario Péloquin, and CFO Carl Delisle, will participate in the event.
