Vietnam Airlines Embraces Sustainable Aviation with Inaugural SAF Flight
Vietnam Airlines has taken a groundbreaking step towards a greener future by operating its first flight powered by Neste MY Sustainable Aviation FuelTM. On May 27, 2024, an Airbus A321 was refueled with blended SAF at Singapore’s Changi Airport before embarking on its return journey to Hanoi, Vietnam.

Neste manufactured the fuel at its Singapore refinery and delivered it to Changi Airport through its integrated supply chain.
