Villa Vie Residences, a trailblazer in contemporary residential cruising, recently finalized a Term Loan Facility with funds overseen by NRP Maritime Asset Management AS, a Norwegian maritime fund manager, as of April 26, 2024. Following this development, on April 28, the company’s vessel, Odyssey, commenced dry-dock operations and is expected to complete them by May 21. In light of significant operational improvements aimed at enhancing resident experience and safety, the departure of Villa Vie Odyssey, initially set for May 15 from Southampton, UK, has been rescheduled to May 30 from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The Villa Vie Odyssey, presently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment, is poised to commence a remarkable voyage spanning seven continents, presenting residents with an unmatched lifestyle of opulence and discovery. Previously named MS Braemar under Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, the vessel is undergoing a refurbishment aimed at redefining the onboard experience, tailored to meet the refined demands of contemporary travelers.
“We are excited about our latest accomplishments and our upcoming launch of Villa Vie Odyssey and the enhancements we are making to ensure an exceptional experience for all our residents,” said Mikael Petterson, Chief Executive Officer of Villa Vie Residences.
“The delay in departure is a necessary operational adjustment aimed at upholding the highest standards of service and safety.”
Throughout this transitional phase, Villa Vie Residences is fully equipped to support residents in all facets of their journey. A specialized hotline has been established for residents to address any questions or concerns regarding the adjusted departure. Moreover, Villa Vie will handle all change fees resulting from the revised departure date.
Residents eager to acquaint themselves with the Villa Vie Odyssey before departure are encouraged to partake in ship tours and discover the onboard amenities. Tours will be accessible at the Belfast port, granting residents a firsthand glimpse into the enhancements underway aboard the ship.
“Our team is committed to providing personalized assistance and ensuring that our residents have a seamless and enjoyable experience with Villa Vie Residences,” said Kathy Villalba, Chief Operating Officer of Villa Vie Residences.
“Excitement over our upcoming cruise is growing – with over 80% of our available cabins sold – and continues to increase everyday as we near our departure.”
