Users have shared the video with claims that it depicts Iranian air capabilities destroying the first Israeli F-35 in history over Isfahan. However, these claims are false. The video is not real and is not related to the recent Iran-Israel conflict.
We performed a Google Lens search on the keyframes of the viral video and found that it led us to a verified YouTube channel named ‘Compared Comparison.’ On going through the channel, we found that the same video was published on 28 June 2023 with the title, “Fighter Jet explodes after C-RAM System Hits Engine – Military Simulation – ArmA 3 #shorts.” The description of the video mentions, “This Video is an created Simulation in ArmA3.”
The channel regularly shares such simulated videos, which are made using Arma 3 and Digital Combat Simulator World. The channel creates such simulated videos.
This fake video is being used to falsely claim that Iran destroyed an Israeli aircraft. This is not true. The video is a simulation and is not related to any real-world event.
