Virgin Galactic has announced the successful completion of its second space tourism flight of 2023. The Galactic 07 mission carried four tourists from diverse backgrounds, including Turkey, the United States, and Italy. The flight reached an altitude of approximately 55 miles (88.51 km) during a journey that lasted over an hour. The mission departed from and returned to Spaceport America in New Mexico, marking the final commercial flight for Virgin Galactic’s VSS Unity spaceplane. The company is currently focused on developing its fourth-generation spaceships, which are anticipated to enter commercial service in 2026.
