Smith’s entrepreneurial journey began nearly six years ago when she sought a solution for her persistent night sweats. Inspired by the muslin cotton swaddle used for her son, she realized the potential for creating a sleepwear line that would address this common issue. “People deserve to sleep better,” Smith asserts, “I was determined to create something that would help them do just that.”
Muslin Cotton, unlike high thread count materials, features a unique construction with fewer, larger threads. This allows the fabric to regulate body temperature without trapping heat, while also promoting air circulation. Smith’s product line has expanded beyond sleepwear to include a bath and resort line, offering the same breathable comfort. She has also collaborated with a customer to develop an all-natural cleaner, Bio Brite, which has proven effective on her products and other household items.
