The event offers a simple exchange: bring your perishable food waste to the Metro Stoney Creek location between 10am and 3pm, and receive a free full-size package of Vision Greens lettuce in return. This innovative approach aims to highlight the significant environmental impact of food waste, which is the second highest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in Canada.
