Spanning 13.5 acres of lush greenery with the Kosi River as its backdrop, voco Jim Corbett is a serene sanctuary nestled in the foothills of the Mailani range in the enchanting Kumaon region, popular for family getaways and destination weddings.
Suprabhath Roy Chowdhury has been appointed as the General Manager. With a distinguished career spanning 24 years, Suprabhath has held senior roles in prestigious hotel chains across India, including serving as the General Manager at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, New Delhi. At voco Jim Corbett, Suprabhath will lead the positioning and operational excellence of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ first voco property in India, focusing on exceptional guest experiences, innovative service standards, and sustainable practices.
Raghvendra Pratap Singh joins the team as the Director of Sales. He brings 18 years of diverse experience in hotel sales to his role. Having joined the IHG family 4.5 years ago, he worked at Holiday Inn Gurugram from 2020 to 2024. His expertise includes strategic sales, business development, MICE & weddings sales, client relationship management, and new client acquisition.
Tenzin Losel, with 24 years of culinary experience, has been appointed as the opening Executive Chef. He has extensive experience in supervising kitchen operations, designing menus, training staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Tenzin’s expertise spans a broad range of cuisines, and he is committed to quality and hygiene, adhering to HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
Girish Mamgain, a seasoned hospitality professional with 24 years of experience, serves as the Operations Manager. His career includes roles as Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and General Manager at Corbett Aamod Resort & Spa. Girish excels in project management, hotel openings, team leadership, and is proficient in business, finance, and data analysis.
Ahmed Faisal brings 18 years of inspiring experience in the hospitality industry, with over 12 years at IHG. Starting as an F&B Executive in 2005, he served as a restaurant manager from 2015 to 2019 before becoming Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at voco Jim Corbett. Faisal is recognized for enhancing guest experiences and driving business growth through strategic partnerships, financial planning, and effective leadership.
Surender Singh, with 13 years of hospitality experience and 5.5 years with IHG, is adept at managing and developing teams to achieve high performance, compliance with regulations, and exceptional guest service standards. As Front Office Manager, he has overseen operational budgets, conducted late-night audit operations, and prepared financial reports.
