From his base in Paris, Brykalin serves as an influential voice for Ukraine’s creative and fashion landscape, reframing fashion and Vogue as a powerful form of resistance against oppression.
Brykalin’s journey in fashion began at a young age, working for local magazines in Odessa and later as a stylist and journalist for renowned publications such as L’Officiel, L’Officiel Hommes, and Elle. He joined Vogue Ukraine as fashion editor in 2017 and was promoted to fashion director in 2019.
