As the summer heat fades and the fashion world gears up for its biggest season, Vogue Club, a vibrant community connecting fashion enthusiasts with industry experts, kicked off New York Fashion Week with a special ‘Meet The Founder’ event.
The event, held at the stylish Standard Hotel in the East Village, featured Devon Lee and Sydney Lynn Carlson, the dynamic duo behind Wildflower Cases. Hosted by British Vogue’s Fashion Features Director Julia Hobbs, the panel discussion delved into the Carlson sisters’ journey to building their successful, female-led, family-owned business.
From humble beginnings a decade ago, when their mother Michelle hand-designed cases from clear gel, Wildflower Cases has blossomed into a thriving brand employing 40 people and selling an average of 800,000 units globally each year.
The lively conversation, guided by insightful questions from Vogue Club members, gave attendees a glimpse into the entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision driving Wildflower Cases’ success. The event continued with a vibrant atmosphere, featuring music and special gift bags for guests. Vogue Club members also received an exclusive discount on Wildflower Cases, a perfect parting gift for the stylish evening. As the night wound down, guests descended to The Standard East Village’s NO Bar, enjoying a final nightcap in the heart of New York’s fashion scene.
This exclusive Vogue Club event was a delightful blend of fashion, entrepreneurship, and community, showcasing the vibrant energy and exciting opportunities that New York Fashion Week has to offer.
