Vogue World: Paris: A Fashion and Sport Extravaganza

Vogue World: Paris, set to take place on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, promises to be an unforgettable event honoring a century of fashion and sport in the iconic city of Paris. The event will feature a collaboration with youth athletic academies from throughout France, pairing different Olympic sports with French fashion from the past century, beginning with 1924, the year Paris last hosted the Olympic Games. The show will showcase the work of both contemporary and historic French designers, as well as houses that typically show their collections in Paris. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Secours Populaire, a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing access to sporting events for low-income households.

Vogue World: Paris will take place in the famed Place Vendôme, a fashionista-favorite square that has served as everything from a global hub for fine jewelry to the inspiration for a Catherine Deneuve film. The event will be helmed by a team of fashion and arts luminaries, including Carine Roitfeld, Ib Kamara, Juan Costa Paz, and Palais Galliera curator Alexandre Samson. Dame Pat McGrath will return to lead makeup design, and world-renowned dancer (and Rihanna Super Bowl halftime show choreographer!) Parris Goebel will oversee artistic direction and choreography. The globally broadcast livestream will be directed for the third time by Sam Wrench, who is perhaps best known for his work on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour film.

Vogue World: Paris promises to be a unique and unforgettable event, celebrating the intersection of fashion, sport, and the rich history of Paris. Whether you’re able to attend in person or watch the livestream, be sure to mark your calendars for this exciting event.
