Voltas CEO Pradeep Bakshi Earns Rs 7.21 Crore in FY24

Pradeep Bakshi, Managing Director and CEO of Voltas Limited, a prominent Tata Group company, has been leading the organization since 2018. With nearly three decades of experience in the consumer durables sector, Bakshi has played a pivotal role in guiding the company towards steady expansion and financial success.

Bakshi’s journey with Voltas began in 2001, after a successful stint at Electrolux Kelvinator. He has held various senior positions within Voltas, including the leadership of the air cooling products business, where he significantly contributed to boosting sales and profits.

Voltas Limited, a multinational home appliance company headquartered in Mumbai, India, was established in 1954 as a joint venture between Volkart Brothers and Tata Sons. As of June 15, 2024, the company had a market capitalization of Rs 49,585 crore.

According to Voltas’ annual report for the fiscal year ending in March 2024, Bakshi’s total compensation in FY24 amounted to Rs 7.21 crore. This included a base salary of Rs 1.25 crore, Rs 2.90 crore in perks and allowances (including retirement benefits), and Rs 3.06 crore in commissions, all of which are scheduled for payment in FY25.

Beyond his responsibilities at Voltas, Bakshi serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Voltbek Home Appliances Ltd. His 12-year tenure as Head of Operations at UPBG has solidified his reputation as a highly capable and adaptable executive leader.

Bakshi’s contributions have been recognized through numerous accolades, including the President’s Award for Energy Conservation and the prestigious Appliances Man of the Year award in 2013.
