Vulgar Dance Performance Shocks Bihar School, Sparking Outrage

A disturbing incident has come to light in Bihar, where a government primary school in the Jalai police station area became the venue for a vulgar dance performance during a wedding procession. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, has sparked widespread outrage and prompted an immediate investigation by the police.

According to reports from NDTV, a band and several bar dancers were hired for entertainment by the men participating in the ‘baraat’ (wedding procession) who were staying at the school premises. The performance involved at least four women dancing to Bhojpuri songs while a few inebriated men joined them on the dance floor.

The viral video of the incident has caught the attention of authorities, including Mamta Kumari, the Jalai police station in-charge. “The viral video has come to our notice. We are carrying out an investigation,” she stated, emphasizing that the police had not granted permission for such an event to take place at the school.

This disturbing incident follows a string of concerning events involving schools in Bihar. In May, a video surfaced showing a teacher creating Instagram Reels while grading answer sheets, leading to an FIR being filed against the teacher. Earlier in January, a video went viral depicting wooden benches meant for students being used as fuel to cook midday meals in a government school in Patna district. This incident prompted an investigation, highlighting the lack of resources faced by some schools.

The recent vulgar dance performance at the primary school raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of students and the integrity of educational institutions. It also underscores the importance of ensuring proper supervision and security measures at schools, especially during events that involve external participants. The police investigation into the incident is expected to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the event and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
