WAGA 2024: Global Airport Executives Gather in Riyadh to Redefine Aviation’s Future

The Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific & Middle East / ACI World Annual General Assembly, Conference, and Exhibition (WAGA 2024) has commenced today in Riyadh, heralding the beginning of the premier international assembly of airport executives. Scheduled from May 21 to 23, the gathering is hosted by the Riyadh Airports Company, which oversees King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh.

The conference brings together high-level executives, policymakers, regulators, industry analysts, and visionaries in Riyadh, fostering high expectations for new insights and data focused on developing a sustainable future for both global and regional air travel, emphasizing passenger needs.

ACI Asia Pacific & Middle East Director General Stefano Baronci said, “WAGA 2024 assumes immense significance for us as the event is being held in the Middle East for the first time. As we emerge from the dark clouds of the pandemic, the aviation industry is at a critical juncture, presenting an opportunity for airports to reinvent and enhance competitiveness.
