takes the 1994 title, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, and breathes new life into it. This remaster boasts stunning HD visuals, widescreen support, modern control schemes (including right-click to move), and a revamped user interface.Next,
Warcraft II: Remastered
brings the game that catapulted the franchise to mainstream success into the modern era. Like its predecessor, it features updated visuals, controls, and presentation. This remaster transforms the low-resolution 2D graphics into a vibrant HD experience, giving the games a cartoon-like appearance. While the visuals have been revitalized, the classic sound effects, voices, and music remain intact, preserving the nostalgic charm of the original games.The surprises didn’t stop there. Blizzard also unveiled a major update for
Warcraft III: Reforged
. This update, dubbed 2.0, addresses the criticisms that plagued the 2020 remaster. It introduces overhauled environments, improved lighting, and a modernized user interface, while upscaling the classic assets to HD. Players can now choose between different visual styles, and the ladder system has received much-needed improvements. This 2.0 update also incorporates a wealth of quality-of-life enhancements based on player feedback.All three remasters are available now as part of the Warcraft Battle Chest compilation or individually through Battle.net. Interestingly, these titles are not yet available on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
