The Emperor protects! Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has become a monstrous success for both developer Saber Interactive and publisher Pullup Entertainment. The game’s launch was so impactful that Tim Willits, a veteran of the gaming industry who previously worked on legendary titles like Quake and Doom, stated that Space Marine 2 could be the fastest-selling game he’s ever been involved with. The publisher has officially confirmed this sentiment, revealing that Space Marine 2 has already sold over 4.5 million copies.
“Todd Hollenshead (former CEO of id Software) and I believe that Space Marine 2 is the fastest selling game we’ve ever worked on, including all the Quake, DOOM, Wolfenstein, and RAGE games over the years,” Willits shared during the game’s launch in September. These claims are backed by solid numbers. Pullup Entertainment, the publisher behind Space Marine 2, recently released its Q2 financial report, and the numbers are staggering. Space Marine 2 fueled a +1161% spike in Pullup’s quarterly catalog/new game sales revenues. This translated to a remarkable 164 million euros generated in Q2’25, compared to just 13 million euros in Q2’24.
While Space Marine 2 was a major contributor to Pullup’s success, it wasn’t the only game driving these impressive results. The company also released Train Sim World 5 during the quarter. Overall, Pullup’s total quarterly revenues saw a massive +334% increase year-over-year, soaring from 46 million euros in Q2’24 to 200 million euros in Q2’25.
“Our second-quarter revenue exceeds the previous record set for the full 2022-23 fiscal year. The launch of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is remarkable in terms of numbers and execution,” emphasized Geoffroy Sardin, Deputy CEO of PULLUP Entertainment. The report went on to further highlight the phenomenal success of Space Marine 2, solidifying its status as a major force within the gaming landscape.
