A water tank collapse in Mathura’s Krishna Vihar Colony has resulted in a tragic loss of life, with two individuals confirmed dead and six others injured. According to reports, there are concerns about people being trapped under the debris. A rescue operation is currently underway to locate and assist those potentially trapped.
BJP leader Shrikant Sharma confirmed the incident, stating that six individuals sustained injuries and that rescue efforts are ongoing. The incident took place around 6:00 pm in the Krishna Vihar Colony, a development overseen by the Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad. Officials have confirmed that the water tank was constructed three years ago.
