The online counselling process commences on July 10th, 2024, offering eligible candidates an opportunity to participate in the selection process for coveted engineering and architecture programs across various government and private universities and colleges in the state.

Candidates who have secured qualifying ranks in either the WBJEE 2024 exam or the JEE Main exam are eligible to participate in the WBJEE counselling process. The WBJEE exam serves as a state-level entrance exam, determining admission to undergraduate engineering, technology, and architecture programs.

The WBJEE counselling process is meticulously structured, encompassing three distinct rounds, followed by a mop-up round for any remaining seats:

Important Note:

The WBJEEB emphasizes that this schedule is subject to change under unforeseen circumstances.

The entire WBJEE counselling process will be conducted online through the official WBJEE website (wbjeeb.nic.in). Candidates are required to have their WBJEE or JEE Main rank card, mark sheet of Class 10 and 12 examinations, category certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents readily available for the online application process.

Once a candidate accepts a seat during a particular round, they are obligated to report to the allotted college within the specified timeframe. This involves document verification, fee payment, and program registration. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to this deadline, as failing to report to the allotted college may lead to the forfeiture of the seat.
