In a move to cater to the growing demand for passenger travel, Indian Railways has announced the operation of weekly special trains from Tambaram and Erode to Dhanbad. These trains will provide an additional mode of transportation for passengers traveling between these cities.
Tambaram to Dhanbad Special Train
The Tambaram to Dhanbad weekly special train (Train No. 06065) will depart from Tambaram every Sunday at 6:15 pm, starting from April 28, 2023. It will make stops at various stations along the route and is scheduled to arrive in Dhanbad at 8:30 am on the third day of its journey. The return train, Dhanbad to Tambaram weekly special (Train No. 06066), will depart from Dhanbad every Wednesday, starting from May 1, 2023, at 6:00 am. It will reach Tambaram at 10:45 pm the following day.
Erode to Dhanbad Special Train
The Erode to Dhanbad weekly special train (Train No. 06063) will commence its service from April 26, 2023, departing from Erode every Friday at 1:30 pm. It will travel through several stations before arriving in Dhanbad at 8:30 am on the third day. The Dhanbad to Erode weekly special train (Train No. 06064) will leave Dhanbad every Monday, starting from April 29, 2023, at 6:00 am. It is expected to reach Erode at 2:00 am on the third day.
These weekly special trains are designed to enhance connectivity between Tambaram, Erode, and Dhanbad, providing a convenient and affordable travel option for passengers.
