Wellspring Apartments: A Beacon of Affordable Housing for Miami-Dade’s Elderly
The Integral Group, in collaboration with community members and leaders, recently celebrated the inauguration of Wellspring Apartments, a groundbreaking project that significantly impacts Miami-Dade’s elderly population. Recognizing the growing need for affordable housing for individuals aged 62 and older, Wellspring Apartments offers 99 units, with 67 designated for residents earning below 50% of the area median income (AMI) and 32 for those under 60% AMI.
Spanning over 81,350 square feet, Wellspring Apartments provides amenities such as a computer and library room, a fitness center, and a community center with a full kitchen and enclosed terrace. Egbert Perry, Chairman of The Integral Group, emphasized their unwavering commitment to excellence and community development, highlighting the importance of strategic public-private partnerships and innovative design in fostering vibrant and inclusive communities across urban America.
Mayor Cava acknowledged that addressing housing affordability needs in Dade County remains a top priority for his administration.
