Woman Groped and Assaulted in Bengaluru, CCTV Footage Shows Attack

A woman was allegedly groped and assaulted while out on a morning walk in Bengaluru. The incident, caught on CCTV camera footage, has sent shockwaves through the city. According to reports, the attack on the woman occurred around 5 am on Friday, August 2nd.

The purported video, shared by news agency PTI, shows the woman walking alone on the road when an unknown man, wearing a white shirt, approaches her from behind. He grabs her, groping her before she screams and struggles to break free. A few minutes later, the man flees the scene.

Following the incident, a case was registered with Bengaluru South Police. The police are currently examining the CCTV footage to identify and track down the suspect.

Meanwhile, Times Now reported that the police are working diligently to identify the suspect involved in the incident. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.

This disturbing incident comes just a month after another disturbing case in Bengaluru. A skating instructor at a public school in the city was arrested for allegedly raping a six-year-old student. The arrest came after four days of protests against the incident, which occurred on July 2nd and was reported to the police on July 14th.

Bangalore police commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar confirmed the arrest of Mustafa, the skating instructor, to PTI. These incidents highlight the urgent need for increased safety measures and stricter enforcement to ensure the security of citizens, especially women, in Bengaluru.
