World’s Tallest All-Hotel Tower to Join IHG’s Vignette Collection in Dubai

Dubai is set to welcome the world’s tallest all-hotel tower, a breathtaking 80-story high-rise named Ciel, Vignette Collection. This impressive structure, owned by The First Group and managed by The First Group Hospitality, will join IHG Hotels & Resorts’ exclusive Vignette Collection, opening its doors in Dubai Marina next year.

The Ciel, Vignette Collection is more than just a hotel; it’s an unparalleled lifestyle experience. With over 1,000 rooms and suites, three restaurants, Dubai’s highest infinity pool, a fitness center, a spa, a club lounge, and an observation bar & lounge, guests will be treated to panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and the Dubai skyline. Construction is well underway, and the building has already reached its full height. This award-winning property has already garnered international recognition, including the International Property Awards for Best International Hotel Architecture and Best High-Rise Architecture in Arabia.

The Vignette Collection, launched in December 2021, focuses on unique and exclusive hotels catering to guests seeking enriching and diverse stay experiences. By partnering with IHG, The First Group can leverage IHG’s global scale, luxury expertise, and renowned loyalty program, IHG One Rewards, while maintaining Ciel’s distinctive character.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, “We launched Vignette Collection in December 2021 and have since seen it rapidly grow into an established Collection brand with more than 2300 rooms open across eleven properties. Today, in signing what will on completion be the world’s tallest all-hotel tower, is testament to our expanding luxury and lifestyle portfolio in the Middle East, and our commitment to offer our guests something truly special.”

The First Group, known for its portfolio of award-winning hotels, residences, and vibrant food and beverage outlets, sees Ciel as its largest and most intricate development to date. “The First Group is amongst the top developers in Dubai, and we are delighted to partner with them on this project,” added Mattar. “The sheer scale of ambition encapsulated in Ciel and the international recognition the project has received to date reflects The First Group’s commitment to setting new benchmarks in Dubai’s hotel sector. With the power of IHG’s scale as authentic, experiential and considerate stays that the Vignette Collection brand promises, we are confident the hotel will become an inspiring destination for guests.”

This landmark addition to the Vignette Collection will connect Ciel to IHG’s global network, further enhancing its appeal to international travelers seeking authentic hospitality and unforgettable experiences. As a cornerstone of The First Group Hospitality’s expanding hotel management portfolio, Ciel promises to redefine upper upscale hospitality in Dubai, showcasing innovative design, luxurious amenities, and breathtaking views from its spectacular 365-meter tower. IHG currently operates 117 hotels across nine brands in the Middle East, with an additional 83 hotels in the pipeline. The arrival of Ciel, Vignette Collection, further cements Dubai’s position as a global hub for luxury and hospitality, setting a new standard for unforgettable travel experiences.
