It might seem strange to talk about Christmas in July, but while browsing Amazon for Prime Day deals, I stumbled upon a fantastic bargain: the Xgimi MoGo 2 Pro. This small yet powerful portable projector became a Christmas miracle for my family, and I’m here to tell you why.
Living in Canada, we often associate the season with ample snowfall. However, last year brought a surprisingly weak snowy season, leaving a disappointing green and muddy landscape for Christmas. My 12-year-old daughter, especially, was disheartened by the lack of winter wonderland. The dreary view from our large living room window only exacerbated the non-Christmasy feelings.

The setup was incredibly quick and easy. The projector is roughly the size of a Sonos One speaker, so I simply placed it on the coffee table and pointed it at the blinds. The auto keystone and focus features automatically adjusted the image, straightening it perfectly. The Android TV operating system provides instant access to YouTube and all major streaming services. Of course, you can connect external devices via HDMI, and there’s even an 8-watt built-in speaker (though connecting it to another sound source via Bluetooth is recommended for a richer sound experience).
