A young Xuxa fan who appeared in the ‘Pra Sempre Paquitas’ documentary, expressing her outrage over being denied access to a Xuxa show, has become an internet sensation and will soon be gracing television screens. The now-adult fan, identified as Patrícia Veloso Martins, appeared on ‘Fantástico’ to recount her experience from that fateful day when she and other children were prevented from seeing Xuxa.
Martins, who was nine years old at the time, was a huge Xuxa fan and now, at 45, she is a teacher. The scene of her, a young girl, holding a reporter’s microphone and yelling, “I got here at 3 am, this can’t happen! They let the guy in, and the kids were left out. What kind of ‘Xou da Xuxa’ is this?” went viral after the documentary’s release.
The scene, captured during the second anniversary of the ‘Xou da Xuxa’ program in 1988, sparked a search for the “rebellious little fan.” The Globoplay documentary, which premiered on Monday, June 16th, has five episodes and tells the story of the girls who worked with Xuxa from 1984 to 2002. Twenty-seven of the 29 Paquitas were interviewed for the series.
The documentary has revived fond memories for many, and this particular scene has resonated with viewers, igniting a wave of nostalgia for the iconic Xuxa era. The reemergence of the “Xou da Xuxa” fan, along with her televised recounting, has provided a glimpse into the past and reignited the magic of Xuxa’s legacy.
