Yale Student Assaulted at Pro-Hamas Protest
A Jewish student at Yale University has alleged she was assaulted and obstructed while attempting to film a pro-Hamas protest on campus. Sahar Tartak, editor-in-chief of the Yale Free Press, told ‘America’s Newsroom’ on Fox News that she was immediately blocked by protesters after being identified as a Jewish student wearing a black hat.
Tartak claims she was surrounded by a line of protest organizers linking arms, preventing her from moving forward. She states that the taunting escalated until she was jabbed in the left eye with a Palestinian flag. When she tried to pursue her assailant, the human blockade of protest organizers allegedly continued to block her path.
Tartak expressed concern that her peers have joined the Nazi party, citing their alleged celebration of the recent terrorist attack by Hamas in Israel. According to Tartak, the protesters chanted slogans supporting violence and uprisings including suicide bombs.
At least 40 protesters were arrested for trespassing after multiple intersections around the Ivy League school were blocked during the demonstration.
