As the return of Yellowstone nears, Paramount Network has unveiled the first images from season 5, part 2, offering a glimpse into the drama that awaits.
The images showcase familiar faces, including Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton, Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler, Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, Wes Bentley as Jamie Dutton, Kelsey Asbille as Monica Long, Brecken Merrill as Tate Dutton, Finn Little as Carter, Wendy Moniz as Governor Perry, Moses Brings Plenty as Mo, and Gil Birmingham as Thomas Rainwater.
However, one notable absence is Kevin Costner, who played the patriarch John Dutton. Costner’s departure from Yellowstone was announced in June after a long-standing dispute with Taylor Sheridan and Paramount regarding his contract and commitment to another project, *Horizon: An American Saga*.
Paramount Network is giving fans the perfect opportunity to catch up before the new season premieres with a Labor Day weekend marathon. The marathon begins on Paramount Network at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Friday, August 30th, and continues throughout the weekend until Monday, September 2nd.
In anticipation of the new season, Paramount Network has released a 30-second teaser clip, featuring the tagline: “Generations of blood have led to this.” The clip shows members of the Dutton family amidst ominous music, hinting at the intensity and conflict to come.
While season 5, part 2 was originally billed as the final run for Yellowstone, recent news has revealed that Hauser and Reilly are in negotiations to reprise their roles for a potential season 6. Additionally, a Yellowstone spinoff series, *The Madison*, is in development with Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead role.
Yellowstone season 5, part 2 premieres at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, November 10th, 2024. Be sure to catch up on the previous seasons and prepare for the highly anticipated return of this gripping drama.
