Yogi Adityanath Accuses Congress of Plotting to Implement Sharia Law and Redistribute Property

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has made serious allegations against the Congress party, claiming that its election manifesto reveals a plan to implement Sharia law and redistribute people’s property in India. Addressing an election rally in Amroha, Adityanath accused the Congress of betraying the country and deceiving the people with its false manifesto.

Adityanath specifically pointed to the mention of “personal laws” in the Congress manifesto, which he interpreted as a reference to Sharia law. He asserted that India should be governed by the Constitution drafted by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, not by religious laws. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also alleged that the Congress manifesto includes a provision for the redistribution of property, which Adityanath condemned as an attempt to loot people’s possessions.

Escalating his attack, Adityanath accused the Congress of aligning itself with the mafia and criminals. He referred to a statement made by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2006, suggesting that Muslims have the first right to the country’s resources. Adityanath questioned the implications of such a view for marginalized communities such as Dalits, backward classes, and farmers.

In contrast, Adityanath praised the Modi government for eliminating terrorism in India. He claimed that the Modi government has successfully abolished Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, thereby eradicating the root of terrorism. He also asserted that Pakistan is now afraid of engaging in terrorist activities in India due to the dire consequences it would face.

Adityanath criticized the Congress for its lack of vision and its dynastic politics. He accused the Congress of recycling old slogans without any real substance. In contrast, he praised Prime Minister Modi for his genuine efforts to eradicate poverty.

Adityanath urged voters to cast their ballots for the BJP and its allies to ensure the continued eradication of terrorism and the elimination of mafia and criminals. He warned that a vote for the wrong party could lead to a return of terrorism, mafia rule, and insecurity for citizens.

The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) president, Jayant Chaudhury, was also present at the election rally.
