Yogi Adityanath: ‘Politics of Performance’ Marks Modi’s Leadership

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, stating that the ‘politics of performance’ has characterized his governance. Under PM Modi’s decade-long tenure and the combined efforts of the ‘double engine government,’ 25 crore individuals have been lifted out of poverty. Adityanath contrasted this with the Congress’s failure to address poverty despite decades of rule.

Adityanath showcased the BJP-led government’s comprehensive welfare initiatives, including Jan Dhan accounts, free ration distribution, health insurance coverage, housing assistance, and access to clean water for all. He emphasized the significant impact these schemes have had, benefiting millions of families.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that with the public’s support, the Modi government would achieve its target of winning 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He asserted that the people had rejected the Congress and its allies in the first phase of the election.

Adityanath criticized the Congress’s divisive politics, recalling the consequences of such actions in the country’s history. He accused the Congress of creating divisions along Hindu-Muslim lines.

On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Adityanath performed prayers at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur. He extended greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh and prayed for their happiness and prosperity.
