YOTEL and Frasers Hospitality, a Singapore-based hospitality group, have announced a partnership to bring YOTEL’s distinctive brand to Japan with the launch of YOTEL Tokyo Ginza, slated to open in early 2025. This highly anticipated establishment will mark YOTEL’s debut in Japan, offering guests an exceptional experience in one of Tokyo’s most vibrant and sought-after neighborhoods.

Nestled in the heart of Ginza, YOTEL Tokyo Ginza is within easy reach of premier dining and shopping destinations, including flagship stores of globally renowned brands. Its proximity to Tokyo Station, a major transportation hub, provides seamless access to various parts of Japan via the Shinkansen high-speed rail terminal. Additionally, the hotel’s convenient location offers effortless connectivity to Narita International Airport through the Narita Express, making it an ideal transit point for travelers.

YOTEL Tokyo Ginza embodies the brand’s signature fusion of contemporary design and locally inspired artistry, creating a harmonious interplay between sophisticated communal areas and invigorating room layouts. Each of the 244 meticulously crafted rooms showcases YOTEL’s latest innovations, including a distinctive robotic concierge, state-of-the-art SmartBeds™, and seamlessly integrated technologies that ensure a seamless digital guest experience from booking to departure.

Hubert Viriot, Chief Executive Officer at YOTEL, expressed his delight in partnering with Frasers Hospitality to introduce YOTEL to Japan. He emphasized that YOTEL Tokyo Ginza will serve as a flagship for the brand, and they are thrilled to collaborate with an investor who shares their unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence in hospitality.

Eu Chin Fen, Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Hospitality, echoed the sentiment, stating that the debut of the inaugural YOTEL-branded hotel in Tokyo marks a significant milestone for the company. He reaffirmed their commitment to expanding their presence in Japan and looks forward to a mutually beneficial long-term partnership with YOTEL.

The launch of YOTEL Tokyo Ginza is just the first step in YOTEL’s broader expansion plan for Japan. The company has set its sights on major cities across the country, including Osaka, Kyoto, Sapporo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Kobe. Furthermore, YOTEL is actively exploring opportunities to introduce YOTELAIR, its innovative transit hotel concept, at key entry points such as airports and train stations.

This strategic expansion, coupled with existing locations like YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road and YOTELAIR Singapore Changi Airport, is a crucial part of YOTEL’s global growth strategy. The brand aims to tap into new markets and achieve its goal of having 50 hotels operational or in progress by 2025.
