Growing up in the spotlight of a popular television show like Young Sheldon can come with unique challenges, as young actors may miss out on typical childhood experiences and milestones. However, the crew of the show has found a heartwarming way to make these moments special for the young stars. Beginning in Season 1, the crew has diligently kept track of the heights of the three main child actors: Raegan Revord, Iain Armitage, and Montana Jordan, who portray the characters of Sheldon Cooper’s siblings. In a recent heartwarming TikTok video, Revord shared a montage showcasing the trio’s growth journey using giant rulers provided by the crew. The video opens with the three kids at the start of filming Young Sheldon Season 1, with a crew member expressing the hope that the height measuring tradition would continue for years to come. The montage then follows the kids growing from Season 1 in 2018 to the filming of the show’s seventh season in 2024. It’s a bit hard to tell, but it looks like, by the time Season 7 wrapped, Revord had grown to about 5’6, Armitage grew to 5’9, and Jordan had surpassed the 6ft marker. It’s not surprising to see that the trio has grown so much over the years, as they started Season 1 as a 10-year-old (Revord), 9-year-old (Armitage), and 15-year-old (Jordan). However, despite Young Sheldon ending this summer, the height measurement tradition could continue, as Jordan will be starring in a spin-off from Young Sheldon that will follow his character, Georgie, and his family.
