Zahabiya Khorakiwala, the daughter of Habil Khorakiwala, founder and chairman of Wockhardt, a multinational pharmaceutical company, exemplifies the success of India’s next generation of business leaders. She currently oversees the hospital arm of the family empire, leading Wockhardt Hospitals, a company with a market cap of Rs 9517 crore as of June 25.

Zahabiya took the helm of Wockhardt Hospitals in 2010 as executive director at the young age of 27. She has been responsible for strategic decision-making, including identifying new business opportunities and driving the company’s growth.
