While promoting their highly anticipated film ‘Challengers,’ Zendaya’s costars, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, couldn’t resist showering the actress with praise for her undeniable star power.
‘You can’t be a movie star unless you’re a brilliant actor, and Z is,’ O’Connor enthusiastically declared to KTLA 5’s Sam Rubin. He went on to describe Zendaya’s captivating presence as akin to having ‘pixie dust.’
Zendaya, ever the humble and gracious star, accepted the compliment with gratitude while acknowledging the pressure that comes with such high expectations. ‘It’s a different chapter, something new for me,’ she explained. ‘The joys of this are not just being able to bring characters to life, but also working with the people around you.’
She couldn’t help but commend her fellow cast members, including Faist and O’Connor, as well as the talented director, Luca Guadagnino, and screenwriter, Justin Kuritzkes. Zendaya expressed her excitement for the world to see her costars’ versatility and brilliance in this new project.
‘I really enjoyed watching them and working with them,’ she exclaimed. ‘I’m really excited about that.’
