Zeus International Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Three Properties in Italy and Greece

Zeus International Hotels and Resorts has made a significant acquisition, adding two hotels and an office block to its portfolio. The properties, located in Milan, Thessaloniki, and Athens, were purchased from PRODEA Investments. This acquisition represents a major step in Zeus International’s ongoing expansion strategy, which focuses on acquiring privately owned hotels in Greece and Europe. The company also manages properties under long-term leases or with third-party owners, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing asset performance.

The newly acquired properties include the Dolce Milan Malpensa hotel in Milan, the Lazart Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Thessaloniki, and a five-story property in Athens. Zeus International previously held leases for both hotels. The Dolce Milan Malpensa hotel complex is situated in a lush landscape, featuring a modern design and offering 207 rooms, a restaurant, a café-bar, and conference facilities. The Lazart Hotel, a 5-star award-winning property in Thessaloniki, combines luxury and comfort with a prime location near the city center. It boasts spacious rooms, unparalleled views, and blends contemporary luxury with creative expression, transforming the space into a living gallery.

This acquisition aligns with Zeus International’s 10-year plan to become a leading hospitality management company in Europe. The company is focused on making new investments and establishing strategic partnerships, while simultaneously increasing the number of privately owned hotels in its portfolio. Over the past seven years, Zeus International has invested over 250 million Euros in new developments and forged partnerships with major global hotel brands like Wyndham and Hilton. This has led to a portfolio expansion, now encompassing 20 hotels with over 4,000 rooms, valued at over 1 billion Euros.

This strategic move solidifies Zeus International’s position as a key player in the global tourism and hospitality industry. “With this strategy, the group brings the total number of hotels owned by Zeus International to nine, marking an important milestone in the group’s journey and bolstering its expansion in the European market. These new additions to the company’s portfolio demonstrate our dedication to the advancement and development of tourism and hospitality in Greece and abroad. We will always be dedicated to promoting authentic hospitality through Zeus International’s experience and know-how,” stated Haris Siganos, Founder and Managing Director of Zeus International Hotels and Resorts.
