The Ministry of Tourism’s Challenge Based Destination Development (CBDD) scheme aims at fostering sustainable and responsible tourism. By selecting 42 destinations across 25 states and UTs for development under various tourism themes, the scheme promotes competition, convergence, and strategic alignment with national tourism priorities.
