The victim, a 65-year-old woman, was walking on the sidewalk near 59 North Front Street when she was struck by the bike around 9:30 p.m. Witnesses described the cyclist as wearing dark clothing and potentially having salt-and-pepper colored hair. Unfortunately, the suspect fled the area, leaving the victim with physical injuries that required transport to Belleville General Hospital.
