Carlton Cards is once again demonstrating its commitment to supporting mental health in Canada with its annual ‘Support Mental Health’ campaign, running from October 1st to 31st. This year marks the fourth year of this initiative, which has already raised a remarkable $230,000 for mental health initiatives across the country.
Throughout October, Carlton Cards will donate a portion of the proceeds from greeting cards sold at participating retailers nationwide to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). This partnership highlights the company’s dedication to fostering a healthier and more supportive community.
“Supporting the community is a top priority for Carlton Cards. We are proud to collaborate with our exceptional retail partners to raise funds to support CMHA and its mental health initiatives in Canada,” shared Paul Werynski, President of Carlton Cards.
The 2024 campaign introduces a new and engaging weekly social media contest centered around the theme of connection. This contest encourages participants to focus on self-care and building strong social connections, both of which are crucial elements of positive mental well-being. In addition, a downloadable Connection Calendar will be available on the Carlton Cards website (www.carltoncards.ca), offering a helpful tool for promoting mental health through connection.
Margaret Eaton, National CEO of CMHA, expressed gratitude for Carlton Cards’ ongoing support. “We know that connecting with people and our community doesn’t just feel good, it’s good for our mental health. That’s why we’re beyond grateful for the ongoing support from Carlton Cards,” Eaton stated. “Thanks to Carlton Cards, we can continue to help Canadians promote and protect their mental health while fostering connection and strengthening communities across Canada.”
The campaign will be featured at a wide range of participating retailers across the country, including Atlantic Superstore, Brunet, Dominion, Familiprix, Federated Coop, Foodland, Fortinos, IGA, Jean Coutu, Lawtons Drugs, Loblaws, London Drugs, Maxi, Metro Ontario, PharmaChoice, Pharmasave, Real Canadian Superstore, Provigo, Safeway, Save On Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sobeys, Your Independent Grocer, select Walmart stores, and Zehrs Markets.
