NIACL Assistant RLT 2023: Shortlisted Candidates Announced

The New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) has released the state-wise list of provisionally shortlisted candidates for the Regional Language Test (RLT) as part of the Assistant Recruitment Exercise 2023. The recruitment drive, advertised on January 29, 2024, invited applications for Assistant positions. Based on the Tier II (Main) online examination performance held on April 13, 2024, candidates have been shortlisted for the RLT. Candidates failing to attend the RLT will have their candidature automatically cancelled without reconsideration or further communication.

The Company’s website, www.newindia.co.in, will soon display the Tier II (Main) online examination cut-offs and marks of non-shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates must submit a duly filled Data Sheet, available on the Company’s website, along with self-attested copies of specified documents mentioned in the Call Letter for the RLT. However, appearing for the RLT does not guarantee selection.

Call letters with RLT venue details will be available for download on the Company’s website. Requests for changes in RLT date, time, or venue will not be entertained. The Company reserves the right to alter the RLT schedule or conduct supplementary processes under unforeseen circumstances.

Candidates attending the RLT are advised to arrange their travel in advance. SC, ST, PwBD candidates are entitled to reimbursement of second-class travel expenses by rail or bus, subject to the shortest route, upon providing travel evidence.

Candidates must ensure they meet eligibility criteria as per the Recruitment Advertisement. Any discrepancies in eligibility or information furnished may lead to disqualification, even after appointment.

The Company underscores that candidates must adhere to the specified norms throughout the recruitment process. Any detection of eligibility non-compliance or false information may result in immediate cancellation of candidature, even post-appointment.

While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy in the shortlisted candidate list, the Company retains the right to rectify any inadvertent errors. Candidates are advised to regularly check the Company’s website for updates.

This announcement serves as a crucial milestone in The New India Assurance Company Ltd’s ongoing recruitment process, aligning with its commitment to transparency and fairness in recruitment procedures.
