This year, Pigeon introduced its cutting-edge Pigeon Nipple 3S Model to the Chinese market. The CIIE also marked a significant step forward for Pigeon’s commitment to scientific research in China. The company unveiled its newly established Maternal and Infant Skin Care Research Center in the country. Recognizing the unique challenges of child-rearing in China, Pigeon established its first international research facility in Shanghai back in 2017, dedicated to local independent research and development. The company highlighted its successful efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in China by 54%, amounting to a reduction of 5,303.5 tons since 2018. In collaboration with the China Green Foundation, Pigeon has taken proactive steps to restore the environment, planting 25,000 saxaul trees and restoring over 310,000 square meters of desert land. Additionally, Pigeon’s PPSU bottle recycling program in China has collected over 71,400 bottles, significantly reducing plastic waste by over 5 tons.
Supporting Vulnerable Groups
Pigeon extends its commitment to care beyond its core product offerings. The company actively focuses on supporting vulnerable groups, including low birth weight preterm infants and children with cleft lip and palate. Pigeon provides support through free clinics, financial assistance, and product donations. To date, the company has facilitated cleft lip and palate surgeries for over 30,000 children in remote areas and has established 11 breast milk banks, benefiting 6,487 infants.
