Telugu superstar Prabhas has once again displayed his kindhearted nature by contributing ₹35 lakhs to the Telugu Film Directors Association (TFDA). The donation was announced in a video shared by India Today, where TFDA members expressed their gratitude for Prabhas’s generous support.
In the video, the members acknowledged the receipt of the ₹35 lakh donation and praised Prabhas’s commitment to the association’s growth. They stated that this substantial contribution would significantly boost their efforts to develop and support the organization.
Prabhas’s latest act of philanthropy coincides with the upcoming Director’s Day celebrations, which will be held on May 4th. The event will honor the legacy of late Tollywood filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao, whose birth anniversary falls on the same date. Dasari Narayana Rao was a renowned director, producer, screenwriter, actor, lyricist, and politician, known for his socially conscious films that explored themes of injustice, corruption, and gender discrimination.
Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming sci-fi action-thriller film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, stars Prabhas alongside Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan.
The actor is also committed to several other upcoming projects, including a cameo appearance as Lord Shiva in the fantasy drama ‘Kanappa’ and the romantic horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab.’ Additionally, he is set to reprise his role in the sequel to ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ titled ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.’
Prabhas’s latest donation to the TFDA highlights his dedication to supporting the Telugu film industry and his commitment to honoring the legacy of legendary filmmakers.
