Heart Machine, the developer behind indie hits like Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash, has revealed a new 2D action platformer called Possessor(s) during this year’s Devolver Direct. The game takes place in a flooded city ravaged by an ‘interdimensional catastrophe’ and follows Luca, the game’s protagonist, as they explore and learn to survive with the help of Rehm. Possessor(s) features combat influenced by platform fighters like Super Smash Bros., allowing players to craft air and ground combos with an array of weapons and abilities. It also incorporates Metroidvania elements, offering new areas to explore as players acquire new abilities. The game is scheduled for release on PC and consoles in 2025.

The Talos Principle 2, a sequel to the critically acclaimed 2014 puzzle game, is getting its first expansion, Road to Elysium, on June 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The $20 DLC will feature three new areas to explore, each with its own unique set of puzzles and challenges. Road to Elysium will continue the story of the android colony and explore philosophical questions about their existence.
