Jaipur Rallies to Save Hridyansh from Spinal Muscular Atrophy

In a remarkable act of solidarity, the city of Jaipur raised 9 crores to fund the Zolgensma injection for 22-month-old Hridyansh, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2. Notable figures like cricketer Deepak Chahar and actor Sonu Sood amplified the campaign’s reach, while NGOs and social organizations played a major role in mobilizing resources. Hridyansh received the life-saving injection at the JK Lone Hospital in Jaipur, a milestone in his battle against SMA. The campaign highlighted the financial struggles faced by Indian families affected by SMA, with one in 38 Indians carrying the faulty gene that causes the disease.

Tragic Suicide in Jaipur: Man Jumps from Commercial Building

A 26-year-old man named Gaurav Tripathi took his life by jumping from the fourth floor of a commercial building in Jaipur’s Jalupura area. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, causing panic among people nearby. Tripathi was employed in the housekeeping department of a grocery store chain and was on leave at the time of the incident. No suicide note was found, and authorities believe it was a clear case of suicide as he intentionally jumped from the fourth floor. CCTV footage revealed that Tripathi had attempted to jump twice before successfully doing so. He was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead due to severe injuries.

AirAsia Extends India Network with New Jaipur Route

AirAsia has launched a new nonstop route connecting Kuala Lumpur to Jaipur, the Pink City of India. This marks the airline’s thirteenth nonstop connection between Malaysia and India.

AirAsia’s inaugural flight to Jaipur was operated by an Airbus A320neo, departing Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) at 19:40 and arriving at Jaipur Airport (JAI) at 22:17.

The airline is committed to expanding its network in India and looks forward to welcoming more visitors to Malaysia following the government’s announcement of visa-free entry last year.
