The Congress party has released its list of candidates for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, fielding candidates in five constituencies in Bihar and two in Punjab. Among the notable candidates is former BJP MP Ajay Nishad, who will be contesting from the Muzaffarpur seat in Bihar. The party has also fielded former MLA Madan Mohan Tiwari from Pashchim Champaran, a stronghold of the BJP.
A 10-year-old girl in Patiala, Punjab, tragically lost her life after consuming a cake containing excessive amounts of artificial sweetener. Officials revealed that the cake contained high levels of saccharine, a sweetener that can quickly raise blood glucose levels when consumed in large quantities. The girl’s entire family also fell ill after eating the cake.
