Union Health Minister Nadda Directs FSSAI to Waive Registration Fee for Street Food Vendors

Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda has directed the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to waive the registration fee for street food vendors and emphasized the need to establish street food hubs across the country. The minister highlighted the importance of training and re-orientation programs for street food vendors and encouraged them to take advantage of the PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM-SVANidhi) program. Nadda also launched a ‘SOP for Street Food Vendors’ and inaugurated a dedicated portal for street food vendors.
