The upcoming reboot of ‘The Office’ is gaining momentum with the addition of two talented actors to its cast: Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore.
Gleeson, known for his portrayal of General Hux in the ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, will be joining the ensemble cast in an undisclosed role. Impacciatore, who recently starred in ‘The White Lotus,’ will also join the team in a yet-to-be-announced capacity.
The reboot is being led by original creator Greg Daniels and newcomer Michael Koman, who is known for co-creating ‘Nathan For You’ with Nathan Fielder. A writers’ room was established earlier this year to begin work on the series.
While the original ‘The Office’ (US) ran from 2005 to 2013 and featured a star-studded cast including Steve Carrell and Rainn Wilson, the reboot will take place in the same universe but with different characters and a new location. This means that while the original cast may not be returning, there is a possibility for some surprise cameos.
The official synopsis for the reboot has not yet been released, and a release date has not been announced. The original ‘The Office’ (US) is available to stream on Netflix, while the original ‘The Office’ (UK) is available on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
